Gerry Halpin is at the Windermere Gallery

I’m very pleased to say that Windermere Fine Art Gallery in Cumbria are now showing my paintings in their splendid and well placed gallery in the town.

I was invited to visit the gallery by Matthew, the owner, and to show him a representative selection of my recent paintings from both my ‘Moorland’ and ‘Shoreline’ collections.

All the paintings were received enthusiastically, much to my delight, and whilst most of the paintings in the gallery are figurative, Matthew was particularly impressed by my abstract interpretation of the shoreline seascapes.

We had a lovely conversation about art, artists and gallery ownership and I left content that Matthew would be a very positive dealer of my work.
